Ultrasound scanning
We can scan your bitch from 28 days after last mating to confirm pregnancy. We also scan to determine phantom pregnancy. The scans can be carried out in our calm, caring environment on our premises or in your own home. Mobile scanning prices will vary depending on mileage please text or call us to discuss your needs. Dogs can be scanned lying down or standing depending on dates. It may be necessary to clip a little of your dog’s tummy hair for scanning purposes. Most scans last around 15 minutes, breaks as needed. Please have your mobile charged so you can photo the special moment. Ultrasound is a safe, non-invasive procedure for determining pregnancy, however exact number of pups can not be guaranteed. If the scan is negative, you will be entitled to a free scan within 7 days at our premises.
Microchipping services
Mobile dog microchipping services for Boston, Skegness and surrounding areas. Friendly, caring, professional microchip services from the comfort of your own home. I use the PetTrac database, these are mini chips so suitable for all pets including teacup breed pups. A fuel charge may apply depending on destination.
Whelping assistance
We understand that whelping puppies is often one of the most stressful experiences for dogs and their owners. AhavaAmi’s expert team offers a 24-hour rapid response (callout fees apply) to guide you through every step of the process. We offer a mobile service, which allows us to monitor the whelping process from the comfort of your own home. If your bitch is struggling in any way, our first course of action will be to recommend veterinary assistance for the health and safety of your dogs and her litter.

Hand-Rearing
Our service can offer everything needed to help a puppy survive and thrive. Every puppy that comes to us will receive 24hr care and have endless support from our fantastic mobile vet. We take in a lot of disabled babies and babies with birth defects (look on our Facebook group at our previous and current babies). We have an incubator and oxygen to help the most needy babies, the feeding method we use is tube or bottle feeding depending on the puppies needs. We take in any puppy regardless of the health issue/condition. We have a NO PUT TO SLEEP policy meaning no puppy will be put to sleep unless suffering beyond our or our vets control.
